1st Trip of CA Family at Cameron Highlands - 2nd Day

All of us have a good sleep on the night but we also wakeup early on the morning (31st Aug 2008). We will choose a nearest Chinese Restaurant to settle our breakfast because we are planning to down hill from Brinchang town to Habu. There had two visited point, the 1st is Honey Bee Farm where it can see a honey bee and 2nd visited point is BOH estate where is the leading tea grower in the country.


On the way to Habu, we will pass by another visit point call Cameron Valley Tea House. Har…. This is what we saw when we step out from ours car……



Just completed capture for few photo, so we decided to continue our journey to Habu. Few minute later, here is what we saw in ……

The real honey bees….. After Honey Bee Farm with the same way keep on going, we will start to the entered the area of BOH estate…. There have a small café with breathtaking view of the plantation.

The next step, we planned to up hill back to Kok Lim Strawberry Farm because Samuel & Demi would like to pluck strawberry. On the way back to Brinchang town, we had found another new visit point is Waterfall beside the road is open for visitor. So Bebe decided to drop by here.

We all feeling hungry because lunch time arrived, Bebe suggest to having fast food (KFC) for our lunch where located at Brinchang town before continue the journey to Kok Lim Strawberry Farm. Here is Kok Lim Strawberry farms, both of them started to choose a big red strawberry ….

Very nice Butterfly can be seen here….. And together many flowers too…..


At last we all feeling very tired …… The last visit point is another Honey Bee Farm at Tringkap where didn’t have any real bees and only have this…..

Finally, we leave Cameron Highlands around 7pm evening. We will back again......

1st Trip of CA Family at Cameron Highlands - 1stDay

We whole family is very happy started from yesterday (29th Aug 2008) night because we have started busy on packed luggage, charging camera, checking car status, food preparing and etc….. The happier person is my both little sons, eldest is Samuel and youngest is Isaac. The trips will not only our family but will join together with Demi (my wife brother daughter).

We started our trip at house on 7am morning then drop on Klang town to having a breakfast before keep on journey. I’m taking around 3hour to arrived Ipoh town located at Perak state because I choosing a new way to Cameron Highlands where my friend recommended is easy tracking compared with Tapah way.

After the long journey and arrive to Ipoh town with the famous of white coffee, we are feeling hungry and planned to have a great lunch before started to climb the mountain. I recommend my wife to try on the famous noodle ‘Ipoh Sha Hor Fun’ and famous Old town fruit Rojak.

I taking another 1hour 15minute started from Simpang Pulai junction to Blue Valley junction but as my friend information should be arrive less than 45minute because I driving slow. Cause of my journey take more than 5hour, my both sons include Demi get tired and get an afternoon sleep on the way from Simpang Pulai to Blue Valley. Around 1.25pm afternoon, we saw an Equatorial Hotel landscaping on a side of high mountain level and we decided to wake up our sons & Demi to let them know we have been arrive Cameron Highlands. Since all of us feel tired too and we also didn’t make any early booking for hotel, so we decided to get in hotel first….. Finally satisfy with walk-in Parkland Hotel located at centre of Brinchang town. Around 2.15pm afternoon, we just only completed settle room check-in and moving ours luggage to room. This was what I saw from my hotel window …….



The first visit point my eldest sons suggest is to visit Strawberry Farm because he like strawberry….. After I read on the maps the nearest point is Big Red Strawberry Farms just behind the POS office, so we decided to drop by there. Wow!! There are very big farms….. Not only have strawberry but many things as vegetables, fruits, flowers and etc….

Second point, we going to visit Cactus Valley but only drop by few minute because all of us not very interested on cactus…… so the journey will keep on going until Multicrops Central Market. My sons like there too because many type of snack & beverage can bought over there….. The last point visit on 1st day time is Uncle Sam Garden where is within walking distance from Multicrops Central Market.

On the night time, we planned to walk & dinner at Night Market (Pasar Malam) because as information there will have a lot of delicious food & beverage and all the store setup by local people.
