CA Family at Penang Island

This Labour Day vacation (1st May 2009), I got an offer from Hydro Hotel for a deluxe room stay at Batu Feringgi Miami beach for our Penang Island trip. My mum have joining us for this trip, we decided to start on 4am early morning because my mum would like to have a cup of Nayang Coffee O with a great bowl of Hakka Yong Tafu noodle as an early breakfast at Ipoh Old Town.

Both of my son and myself was loved for a “Malay Cake” with a great aroma of the brown sugar (Gula Melaka). The stall only located in front of the Coffee Shop. We also not miss to Chai Leng Park for having another great White Curry Laksa and Lam Mee before drove to the island.

We haven’t begins Bukit Bendera on previous few trips, so this trip we planned to buy a cable train ticket to have a visited. Unfortunately, we only got a ticket 3 hour late due to many people. I’m shifted my planned to visit Kek Lok Si Temple (Pagoda Temple) at Air Itam.

Due to everywhere full of people, so make my previous planning jammed. My organize should be stay at Bukit Bendera only for 3 hour, but finally make me spend almost half day on line up to the cable train transmitted.

CA Family at Langkawi Island

Another great trip of CA Family at Langkawi Island

I have being already long time never updated to my blog. Actually this trip we are arranged on the end of year 2008 for our family annual vacation.

Same as previous vacation for long journey, we will start our trip at house on early of morning (7th Dec 2008). This trip we decided to start on 4am early morning because our planning can be arrived to Chai Leng Park on 7am to having a great Penang Food as a breakfast for our 1st destination before arriving to Kuala Kedah Jetty.

After a good food, we continue to our journey to the final destination is Kuala Kedah Jetty to get a ship on board to Langkawi Island. This journey we need around 1hour time start from Prai to Kuala Kedah. On 9.35am show on my car clock, we have saw the sign board mention in front 1km to Kuala Kedah Jetty. So I wake up both of my son where they have a rest on the passenger seat. Unfortunately, we not only late for 1st trip on board even 4th and 5th trip. There are too many people maybe cause of end year school holiday and due to didn’t have any other choice we decide to stay and wait for the 6th trip on board with RM25 per adult and RM20 per child above 3year. We all feel tired and burning mood at the waiting hall where the on board schedule will be at 12pm.

Around 1hour 30minute on board, suddenly we saw a jetty at opposite island and finally confirmed it was Langkawi Island where is our destination.

This trip is specially arranged together with Coral Langkawi to Pulau Payar. Our family is love this experience and promise will be back in future. Both of my sons was happy and funs especially on the section of small fish feeding.

We also decided to stay at Aseania Resort Langkawi for this trip was not the wrong decision. The only problem of this resort was not has a private beach but the location was great for shopping and food even night life. The resort has a great design of swimming pool.
